Hi, my name is Shabnam and I am 17 years old. I
was born in Maine in 1985 to Persian parents. In the house, we
spoke Farsi (the native tongue of Iran) and English. I am 100%
Persian, so I have a unique skin tone that tans very easily and
seldom burns. I will be attending the University of Rhode Island
in the fall as an honor program student and psychology major. I
am a very hardworking, motivated and ambitious person and give
120% to everything. MY INTERESTS I love shopping, going to the
movies and hanging out with my friends. I have been
professionally trained in ballet for over 6 years and am very
experienced in performing in front of an audience. I have been a
part of Shoreline Dance Company for two years. I absolutely love
to dance. Next year I want to focus on different genres of
dance, such as bellydancing and hiphop, which seem very
interesting to me. I have also been playing the violin for over
8 years and have also been a part of numerous orchestras and
performed many concerts. In high school, I was part of many
sports teams, including volleyball, tennis, cross country,
indoor track, and outdoor track. I love staying active. I also
like making websites. MODELING I have always been told that I am
very photogenic. The thought of modeling first crossed my mind
when I had my senior picture photoshoot. I had so much fun doing
different poses and the camerawoman said I was a natural and
asked me if I had ever considered modeling. I said no. Curious,
I ventured online for ways to break into the modeling biz, and
found a few groups that were very helpful. A month or two later,
I was scouted by Trans Continental Talent (TCT) but did not sign
up with them. I am now part of Xan Models and am looking to a
bright career in modeling! FYI: My manager DOES receive every
