I've been a photographer for approx. 8 years. In
the last two years I've had numerous cover shots for Polo
magazine SurfShot magazine and many images published in polo,
surfing and aircraft interiors magazine as well as USA Today and
Dallas News. While much of my work seems to be sports oriented,
I've also done commercial sports product, jewelry and artistic
work. Some products are on the shelves at Target and WalMart. I
work as a team with my daughter Courtney, who is finishing her
fashion, design, marketing degree. We have a full studio. We
always plan our shoots in detail. We work with the models to
discuss clothing styles and options the look and tone of the
shoot and if beneficial, we will storyboard the shoot/poses. We
have 2 make-up artists that work with us on a regular basis.
Planning meetings are normally held in any number of local
restaurants but if distance is a restriction, the planning can
be done over the phone. One of our on-going personal projects is
recreating the work of Playboy's Alberto Vargas. His work was/is
classic, elegant and very tasteful as can be seen in this

never a requirement. While his work was done in paintings, we
